SEWER PROJECTS DURING FEBRUARY
(Thur., Jan. 31, 2013) – The City and County of Honolulu's Department of Environmental Services will be working on eight major sewer projects in February that may impact roadways and traffic on Oahu. The projects include: Ø Ala Moana Boulevard/Auahi Street Sewer Rehabilitation, Phase 2 – Rehabilitation of an existing 6'x6' reinforced concrete main along Auahi Street from Kamalani Street to Keawe Street. Ø Beachwalk Wastewater Pump Station to Ala Moana Park Sewer Phase 1, Force Main System – Installation of a new sewer line along Ala Moana Blvd (between Atkinson Dr and Ala Wai Canal), and along Ala Wai Blvd (between Kalakaua Ave to the dead end of Ala Wai Blvd). Ø Ø Moiliili-Kapahulu Sewer Rehabilitation/Reconstruction Sewer – Installation and rehabilitation of new sewer line along Date St (between Pumehana and Lukepane St). Ø Niu Valley Wastewater Pump Station Force Main removal of by-pass and restoration work – Removal and restoration work on Kalanianaole Highway at the intersections of Puuikena St, West Halemaumau St and Niuiki Circle.
