The complaints branch handles one of our most critical forms of public communication. For many people, their first point of contact with the City and County of Honolulu is the staff of the complaints branch. The complaints that we process provide the Department of Customer Services with opportunities to identify trends and issues that concern the public, and can alert the department to issues that need prompt attention and correction.

Design and Print Center
The Design and Print Center (D&PC) provides the City and County with an onsite, state-of-the-art service center for most of the city's design, layout, and printing needs. Situated in Honolulu Hale, the D&PC staff roster includes graphic and production artists, printing press operators, and a production control technician, supervised by the printing services officer.
The Information Branch of the Department of Customer Services aims to increase overall awareness about the activities, services and programs of the City and County of Honolulu. Led by the Information Officer, the branch staff promotes and maintains open and accurate communications with the public, city employees, leadership, and the media. Located at the Civic Center, the branch responds in a timely manner to requests for information, whether in-person, online, or via telephone.
Municipal Reference and Records Branch
The Public Communications Division oversees the management and storage of official city records, and manages the collection and cataloging of city publications.
