Bridget Palmer Holthus was appointed by Mayor Peter Carlisle as Deputy Director of the Honolulu Department of Community Services in January 2011.  Before joining the City, Ms. Holthus served as the Special Assistant to the Attorney General of Hawaii, as a Deputy Attorney General for Health and Human Services, and as Director of Philanthropic Services for the Hawaii Community Foundation.  She received her B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley, and her J.D. from the University of Hawaii School of Law.
