The "2010 Summer Work Opportunity Program"

(begins June 14, 2010 and ends September 17, 2010)

 

Stimulus funds, awarded to the City, allow us to subsidize summer job wages for approximately 400 young people.  Make a difference in a young person's life!  Help the young people of our community gain job skills and increased confidence in their potential by being a worksite this summer. 

 

Non-profit, federal, state and city agencies -- our program will pay the summer wages of eligible youth who work for you…

If you are age 14 to 23, and meet other eligibility criteria, you will be paid $8.00 per hour for a job set at 30 hours per week...
