Office of Special Projects

The Office of Special Projects serves as the Department's liaison to the community for the development and implementation of human service, community revitalization, and community-based economic development initiatives to address the needs of socially and economically disadvantaged youth, adults, families, and communities in the City and County of Honolulu. 

The Office of Special Projects administers the following programs:

Brownfields and Land Revitalization Program

City and County of Honolulu Grants in Aid

Climate Showcase Communities Program

Comprehensive Economic Development Strategies Program

Honolulu County Committee on the Status of Women

Leeward Coast Community Benefits Program

Mayor's Advisory Committee on Disabilities
