The Department of Design and Construction is the primary agency responsible for the implementation of the City's Capital Improvement Program (CIP).

ADMINISTRATION
Includes the following sections:

Director's Office – provides direction to the department in the planning, engineering, design, and construction of various improvements to the City infrastructure and facilities.

Project Control and Contract Management – provides information management and control of CIP projects, including managing the CIP tracking and reporting system and project schedules, monitoring and directing use of capital funds, coordinating consultant selections for the City, and coordinating the annual capital budget initiative with other City client agencies and BFS.

Administrative Services – coordinates the internal administrative affairs of the department, including personnel management, budget preparation and execution, and development of policies and procedures.
