The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) has an extensive array of apparatuses and equipment to fulfill its mission.  Any motorized, fire fighting vehicle that may be driven on public streets is commonly referred to as an apparatus.  In addition, the HFD has two helicopters, a fireboat, several personal watercrafts (PWC), and medium rescue and hazardous materials (HM) response apparatuses that may be dispatched to an emergency.  To view descriptions of the various HFD apparatuses and equipment, click the following links:
