BRADY, Arnold

Our Neighborhood Board is essential in providing access to our local government and officials. Together we can succeed in taking action for the betterment of our community. Volunteering has taught me that we do have a voice. As Board Chair my goal is listening to all concerns from all people. I look forward to serving again. Thank you voting. KIM, Diana Young

I am a lecturer at UH-Manoa, and a law student at the William S. Richardson School of Law. As a parent, I am aware of the traffic concerns near our parks and schools. I will work towards finding solutions to improve the safety of our neighborhood for our families. If I am elected, I will also work towards increasing community participation and ensuring that your concerns are heard.

Non-Profit Service: American Red Cross (Chair for 3 years), Bishop Museum, Hanahauoli School, Chaminade University. Military Service: United States Marine Corps, Capt. AU, Marianne H.

I have lived at my present address on Waialae Nui Ridge since 1969. I have a doctorate degree from the University of Hawaii and am a retired professor from Chaminade U. Prior to that position I was a real estate broker in the 1970's and 80's. I know the Kahala areas, the residents, the schools and am concerned about the entire community.

 

CHANG, Kenneth C. C.

Incumbent. Also served on NHB V for thirty years. Graduate of St. Louis High School '67; BA - University of Hawaii '72; MA - Kansas State University '74. Registered Hawaii architect. President and Principal Architect to Innovative Architectural Designs, Inc. If re-elected, I will continue to devote time and efforts towards improving and maintaining the quality of life we all deserve.

LUCKETT, Deborah A.

Deborah recently relocated to Kahala from St. Louis Heights where she served on Neighborhood Board No. 5 for six years, two as sub-district chair. She is committed to working with elected officials, business leaders, non-profit industry & neighbors to achieve sustainable solutions to the challenges ahead!

 

PYLES, John R.

My wife and I have lived in Kahala for 40 years and raised 3 sons in district 3. I am serving my 2nd term on the board. Thank you for your consideration.

TURBIN, Richard

I have worked hard for 30 years as Neighborhood Board Chair and member to safeguard our community. Traffic and school safety along with maintaining the beauty of our residential community has been a priority and I will continue to strive for those goals. I was President of the Hawaii State Bar Association, Hawaii Civil Rights Commissioner, and Vice Chair of the East West Center Board of Governors.

DUDGEON, Peter A.

I am originally from Montreal. With my wife Sara, who was born in Honolulu, we moved back in 1969 and have lived in Kahala and Diamond Head since then. I have many years of statewide business experience with Hawaiian Airlines, Princeville Airways, Aloha Island Air and community experience. The importance of these boards is considerable. I hope to continue to serve.

 

HIMEDA, Sylvia S.

I have been a resident of Kahala for over 35 years. For approximately 10 years, I have been a member of the Waialae-Kahala Neighborhood Board. I am willing to participate and to also encourage my neighbors to participate in our community. Furthermore, I will attend community events that are related to the Waialae-Kahala Neighborhood Board.
