At-Large: Fifteen (15) seats to be elected

BONIN, Joseph

In an attempt to make a succinct statement, I'll just say that I've been a resident of this neighborhood for over seven years and I find it's one of the best neighborhoods on Oahu.  I would enjoy continuing to serve on this board, in order that I may help to keep this neighborhood thriving.

 

CARLOS, Marijane

As a resident of Mc Cully, I was concerned that our Board did not have many candidates from our area, so several years ago I ran for election and have been a happy member ever since.  Board 8 works very well together and I feel we have accomplished a lot for our neighborhood.  I would like to continue to be part of the constant improvement and betterment of our district

 

DUDOIT, Nathan Keoki

Lived in the McCully/Makiki area for 10 years. Educator for approximately 15 years. Participated as a volunteer in Neighborhood School Recycling Projects.

 

HAHN, Justin Daniel

Aloha Ka Kou, I am a student of the University of Hawaii pursuing a Masters of Social Work. When I'm not studying, I work as a tour guide. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, bicycling, reading, writing poetry, and envisioning and enacting a more sustainable and humane culture.

 

KIHIKIHI, Kauna

 

KONDRATOVICH, Klement

I have served on the McCully-Moiliili Neighborhood Board for the past several years.  I currently serve as Secretary on the Board.  I have participated in the Pride in Moiliili street clean ups.  I also hold the position of President of the Wiliwili Vista Association of Apartment Owners.

 

KYI-YIM, Serena M.Y.

I have been a board member since 2004 and a social services professional for over twenty years.  I am committed to helping the less fortunate by assisting them to better their lives.  I would like to keep the neighborhood clean by ensuring that the surroundings are well maintained.  I want to live in a neighborhood where everyone can feel safe.

 

LOCKWOOD, Ron

Jobs I'd like to finish: 1.Return of Ala Wai parks to our community. 2. Public/Private partnership of Bowl-O-Drome site. 3. Making our neighborhood the pilot project for complete streets, sidewalks, bike lanes, signage, etc. 4. Strengthing our neigh. security watch/citizen patrols. 5. Phase Twenty Committee 1986-present 27 years, McCully-Moiliili Neighborhood Board subdistrict 08 1997-present 16 years, Hawaii State office of elections 1998-present 14 years, Hawaii State Democratic Party 1972-present 40 years, Hawaii State Reapportionment Commission, City and County of Honolulu Reapportionment Commission 2001-02 and 2011-12. I will promote active community participation in Govt.

 

TOMYL, Joel

Resident of the neighborhood for 20+ years. Currently serving second term on the board.

 

VANN-GUYEN, Dorothy C.

I have done volunteer work most of my life. I like helping people. I was a translator for the Honolulu Dept. of Housing etc. I also worked for St. Joe's Hospital in California. I speak a second language. I like people and I'm friendly.

 

YAMAGUCHI, Masahisa

Born and raised in Moilili, I am a doctorate candidate at UH. I am running for my second term on the Board. Community service is important to me and continuing to serve on the Board will allow me to contribute through an organization that serves a vital role in the lives of those living in Moilili. I am committed to advocating for quality of life and be honored to continue my service on the Board.
