Aloha, my name is Robert Reed and I have lived in Makaha for the past 3 years. Since that time I have become keenly aware of both the problems and opportunities this area provides. I am committed to advocating on your behalf. Mahalo.

 

SILVA, Albert H.

I am a lineal descendant of Waianae for over 200 years. I am a graduate of Kamehameha Schools, Class of 1948. I am a member of the Waianae Coast Rotary Club, Waianae Hawaiian Civic Club, St. Francis Healthcare Systems (Board) member, Ka Waihona O Ka Naauao, Waianae- Military-Civilian Advisory Council.

KAALEKAHI SYLVA, M Leilani

I am a resident of Waianae, as a transplant from Papakolea. I have new eyes to the community that I have grown to love. I am passionate about changes to better help my community to thrive and to make sure that we are not forgotten here in Waianae.  My husband Clarence Sylva was born and raised in Waianae, I would like to be part and share his love of Waianae if elected.

 

PERRY, Johnnie-Mae L.

Elected Chair in August 2012 to the Wai`anae Coast Neighborhood Board #24.  An outgoing Board member thanks me for “my leadership” upon her resignation.  Upon my request as committee chair, Jack-In-The-Box held a two-day job fair in Wai`anae. “’Together we can make "our home" Waianae the most outstanding place on this island!”’

ENDO, Calvin Masato

I have served on the Waianae Neighborhood Board for the past six years. I chaired the Health, Safety and Education Committees. I Retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard after 35 years.  I now work at Waianae High School as their PCNC and president for the PTSA. I'm on the Hawaii State PTSA Board I'm also involved with several groups lobbying to better education in Hawaii and our Nation.

 

FRENZEL, Al

AL Frenzel served 30 years for the Department of Defense and now owns several businesses within the community.  AL became a kama'aina in 1975 and settled in Makaha in 2002.  He has served on the WCNB since March 2010 and would like to continue to serve and represent the interests of Makaha residents.

 

GATES, Cedric Solosolo

Cedric is well advanced for the age of 19. In the 6th grade he was awarded Student of the Year at Kamaile Elementary. At age 12 his mother died due to Cardiac dysrhythmia. He is the founder of the Active Hawaii Organization which envisions Waianae as the healthiest City in Hawaii. He plans on bringing a youth perspective to the Board, promote a healthy lifestyle, and encourage community unity.

 

NEILL, Mona J.L.

I am a Makaha resident for 30 plus years. I have served on the Waianae board for the past year and found it to be an eye opener over community issues. One way to get things done is for the community to share their ideas and solutions with the board. I would love to continue on the board, and to do that I humbly ask for your vote. Imua Waianae!
