Aloha, I would like to continue and represent the new and upcoming challenges of our community. I'm a coordinator of the W.W.C.A.N.S.W. program. I can be a great asset to our community. I am willing to accept another term serving and giving back to our community. I am open to change and willing to help our community.

Kahalu'u has been my home for over forty years and I have seen many changes. I am also a business woman with the largest employer in Kahalu'u. Much of my experience involves working with state and city agencies to achieve mutually beneficial goals. Please consider me as your candidate for the Kahalu'u Neighborhood Board # 29.

Member of the Kahaluu Neighborhood Board for 8yrs. Member of the Kaneohe Bay Regional Council for 6yrs (DLNR 2006-2012). Chairman of the Windward City Lights for 4yrs (2007-2011). Selected Grand Marshall for 2012 Kaneohe Christmas Parade. Coach of the Pali Lanes Youth Bowling Program from 2010 to present. Vice-Chairman of the Civilian/Military Board, Marine Corps Base Hawaii 2012.

It is a privilege to have served on the Kahaluu Neighborhood Board on behalf of my neighbors and the community.  I ask for your vote to return me to serve the next term.  I would like to represent Sub-district 3 (Kamehameha Hwy. from Heeia to 7-11 store). Mahalo nui.

LEVASSEUR, Kenneth William

Kahalu'u is a gateway to the country on Oahu. We need to remain vigilant and have strong representation to keep the country, country. I have been a community activist for over 30 years, with almost 20 years now as a member of NB#29; I am dedicated to realizing the hopes and mitigating the fears of our residents. Our meetings now use real time information technology to better serve our community.

 

TAUM, Alice K. H.

Alice was born and raised in Manoa Valley and attended Manoa Elementary, Stevenson Intermediate and Roosevelt High School. She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa and holds a doctorate in Educational Psychology.

BENDER, Daniel

Dan served on the Key Project board. He is a City Budget Analyst with Masters Degree in Public Adm. He supports keeping Oahu green and clean and favors additional dog parks and bike lanes. Dan serves as a lay-leader at the Aloha Chapel at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.

 

LUERSEN, Amy

I have lived in Kahalu`u for over 20 years.  For most of that time, I have served on the KNB #29.   I hope to be able to continue to use my education and experience as a city planner to facilitate planning discussions. My belief is that the KNB can serve as a forum for community input on issues affecting the future of our community.

 

NELSON, Yvonne R.

I have served on the Kahaluu NB #29 for the past 2yrs & wish to continue. I am a long time resident of the Ahuimanu Vly area & have the time to contribute to our community. I have business experience in real estate & served on several boards, including M.A.D.D (of which I was president for 2yrs). My experience coupled with a love of our island & our community will make me a good candidate.
