AIPOALANI, Hanalei Y.

It is my honor and privilege to serve you, your ohana and our communities of Nanakuli, Lualualei and Maili on the Nanakuli-Maili Neighborhood Board. As your current Board Chair, I have accepted the kuleana of advocating on your behalf and in your best interest this will continue.  I thank you for your continued trust and vote of confidence, and look forward to another productive term. AIWOHI, Keoki K.

A proud Nanakuli High School Graduate and a resident on Nanakuli Hawaiian Homestead.  I want to be active, give back and make a difference in my community and for our people along the Coast. Want to help our sport teams and youngsters in academic for college opportunities, support education, parks, better transportation and public safety. Mahalo! 

 

BUTLER, Glenn V.

Born in Cleveland, OH I have lived on Oahu since Feb.1990. Retired from the Army in Oct.1994. Residing in Maili since Dec.1996, I have volunteered in the community feeding the needy; with American Red Cross; with the Waianae Coast Rotary Club; with my community association; and ran unsuccessfully in the 2012 Elections. I'm committed to doing more for the quality of life & progress of our district.

 

GRACE, Polly "Granny"

Current member on the board. P&Z Chair-Lanikounua board member- Waianae community outreach. Fight for better facility in parks for all our kids, support our homeless ohana. Better transportation, cheap housing, good jobs, better wages for our people. Better school teachers and lunches. Need bypass road for our people. Support small business for jobs and keep drugs out of our community. God Bless!

 

HIGA, C. Pono

It is with a humble heart & an open mind that I announce my bid for a seat on the Nānākuli-Mā`ili NB#36. Should I become a member of this 9 member board I promise my due diligence to the people of the Wai`anae Coast to listen, to use sound judgment, & to place the will of our home over all else. As a life long resident of Mā`ili, raised by my kapuna, I know the values of `ohana, kuleana & mālama.

 

KAHANAMOKU-TERUYA, Patty

Former Nanakuli NB#36, Waianae NB#24 Chair. I care for my community & people, support economic & development for our Coast, will continue to keep alcohol off our highways, keep parks safe, support affordable homes and good development with a alternate route of transportation for the entire Coast! Reasonable open commercial property for our churches and small businesses. God Bless!

Mahalo for your time to review my profile. As a resident and beneficiary of Nanakuli Homestead, I would like the opportunity to be a contributing factor in my community! I am a home maker, single mother of 3, and I've been following up on concerns regarding the affects our community has been and will be facing. It would be an honor to be given the opportunity to represent my family and community!

 

LANDFORD, Richard B.

Resident of Mail'i since birth, attended Waianae Elem., Waianae High, 4 years Honolulu Comm. College (M-1 Electrician). Retired 2009 from Hyatt Regency and Local 5 Hotel Workers Union. Member and past President of Lualualei Hawaiian Civic Club. Volunteer at Sacred Hearts Church food bank.

 

MAKANANI, Henry Kaiawe

I'm a proud graduate of Nanakuli High c/o 2000; I have a Bachelors of Science from Arkansas State University 2006; Former teacher at NHIS; board member of: NHIS PTSA; Nanaikapono Hawaiian Civic Club; Nanakuli-Maili Neighborhood Board; Director Nanakuli Hawaiian Homestead Community Assoc; I would like to continue to advocate for policies and laws to ensure environmental justice prevail!

 

MANAKU, James K. Sr.

Concerned Parent, Grandparent, Great Grandfather. Res. 44yrs. 5 children, 18 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Served on the Waianae board over 20yrs. Nanakuli board 3+years and would appreciate your vote for another term. Mahalo.

 

MCKEAGUE, Leslie N.

Leslie has been a resident, born & raised, in the Wai'anae Coast. She is an active member in her community. She is an active participant at creating & supporting many community functions such as various Sacred Heart Wai'anae events, Sunset on the Beach, Wai'anae Block Party, Nanakuli Block Party & many other events that had been created for the recreational benefit of the Leeward Coast community.

 

NEWCAMP, Sean R.

I am a carpenter by trade. I have always volunteered in my community such as a Cub Scout/Boy Scout, youth soccer/softball/football coach. I helped on community service construction improvement projects for the Ronald McDonald House Community Ctr. I served on the Ala Moana/Kakaako NB assigned to the land utilization committee. I love the Westside & I intend to help my community anyway that I can.

 

REZENTES, Cynthia K.L.

Raised on the Waianae Coast and attended Waianae Elementary and Waianae High School. Earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for IBM Corporation for over 17 years in Boulder, Co and Tucson, AZ. Member of the Waianae Neighborhood Board for 14 years and a member of the Nanakuli-Maili Neighborhood Board since 2008.
