NEIGHBORHOOD COMMISSION NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA Wednesday March 21, 2012 7:00 p.m. Mayor’s Conference Room, Honolulu Hale, Room 301 Persons wishing to participate in the committee discussions are asked to raise their hand before speaking, and when recognized by the Chair, to address their comments to the Chair. Speakers are encouraged to keep their comments under 3 minutes, unless otherwise directed by the Committee. Please silence all electronic devices. 1. Call to Order by Committee Chair Bob Finley 2. Roll Call of Committee Members [Chair Bob Finley, 3. Committee Business 3.1. Discussion of the Role of the Neighborhood Plan Committee and the Neighborhood Commission in the Review and Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Neighborhood Plan, and the Amendment Process (Revised Charter of the City and 14-103 and 14-104; Neighborhood Plan Chapter 20; 3.2. Discussion of the Initial List of Suggested Amendments to the Neighborhood Plan (Recently Distributed by E-mail to All Neighborhood Board Chairs and Available for Review at 3.3. Discussion of and Call for Any Additional Amendment Suggestions for Consideration by the Committee; Establishment of Deadlines for Submittals to be Made to the Neighborhood Commission Office for Transmittal to the Committee 3.4. Discussion of the Committee’s Tentative 2012 Schedule for the Consideration of Proposed Amendments to the Neighborhood Plan, Reporting Recommendations to the Neighborhood Commission, Subsequent Public Hearings, Final Consideration and Action by the Neighborhood Commission, and Presentation to the Mayor for Approval 3.5. Scheduling of Next Neighborhood Plan Committee Meeting 4. Announcements 4.1. The Elections Committee meeting is scheduled for Saturday March 24, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the 4.2. The Neighborhood Commission’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 23, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Council Committee Meeting Room, Monday of each month, unless otherwise noticed. 5. Adjournment A mailing list is maintained for interested persons and agencies to receive the agendas and minutes of the Neighborhood Commission and its committees. Additions, deletions, and corrections to the list may be directed to the Persons wishing to attend any meeting with questions about accommodations for a physical disability or special need should call the Neighborhood Commission Office at (808) 768-3710 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting.
