NEIGHBORHOOD COMMISSION ELECTIONS COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA Saturday March 24, 2012 1:00 p.m. Persons wishing to participate in the committee discussions are asked to raise their hand before speaking, and when recognized by the Chair, to address their comments to the Chair. Speakers are encouraged to keep their comments under 3 minutes, unless otherwise directed by the Committee. Please silence all electronic devices. 1. Discussion of the Alternative Methods of Conducting the Neighborhood System Elections 3.3. Discussion of Potential Publicity Efforts for Candidate Recruitment and Voter Participation 3.4. Discussion of the Neighborhood Commission Office’s Proposed Fiscal Year 2013 Operating Budget (July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013; includes the next neighborhood board elections in May 2013) 3.5. Discussion of the Tentative Timetable to Prepare for and Conduct the 2013 Neighborhood System Elections 3.6. The Neighborhood Plan Committee meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mayor’s Conference Room, Honolulu Hale, Room 301, 4.2. The Neighborhood Commission’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 23, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Council Committee Meeting Room, Honolulu Hale, Room 205, 5. Adjournment A mailing list is maintained for interested persons and agencies to receive the agendas and minutes of the Neighborhood Commission and its committees. Additions, deletions, and corrections to the list may be directed to the Persons wishing to attend any meeting with questions about accommodations for a physical disability or special need should call the Neighborhood Commission Office at (808) 768-3710 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting.
