THEBUS ANNUAL PASS WENT ON SALE JUNE 22

Mayor Jeremy Harris announced today that a new $300 Annual Adult Bus Pass and a new $150 Annual Student Bus Pass were available beginning, June 22 and fares will increase July 1.

In addition to being good for unlimited bus transportation for a full year from the month of purchase, the new annual pass provides the convenience of not having to purchase 12 monthly passes and saves the rider $24. Annual bus passes are not transferable. The actual user must purchase the annual pass as it will be personalized with a photograph.

The annual passes will be sold at TheBus headquarters at 811 Middle Street. The bus pass office is open weekdays except holidays between 7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m. VISA and MasterCharge are accepted.

On July 1, 2001, fares for TheBus and TheHandi-Van will change as follows.
