Holiday Greetings from Mayor Jeremy Harris

          The holiday season has always been a special time of year for island families but the events of the past year have caused many of us to refocus on those things that are truly important to us.  We realize that we are blessed to live in the most beautiful city on earth, and we enjoy freedoms and a sense of community that others only dream of. 

          Those of us who have been blessed have the responsibility to help those among us who have fallen upon hard times, including families and those who are alone.  This season of joy should be a time of thanksgiving for the blessings we enjoy as well as a time to share.

          Ramona and I and all of the City family encourage you to reach out with a helping hand to those among us who have suffered illness, the loss of family or a job.  We send our best wishes to each of you, with our hopes for a peaceful new year.
