STAFF AT THE NEAL S. BLAISDELL CENTER AND WAIKIKI SHELL MAY INSPECT CONTAINERS
Patrons attending public events at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center and the Waikiki Shell are asked to refrain from bringing backpacks, brief cases, hand bags or other large personal carrying containers larger than clutch purses to events at either location. All backpacks, brief cases, large handbags, diaper bags, tote bags, coolers or carrying containers will be subject to search as a condition of entry.
Individuals without large hand-carried items will not be required to undergo entry inspection and may use separate designated express lines for entry. As a reminder for Waikiki Shell events, coolers larger than 18 inches in length and umbrellas are not permitted. Only backrests are allowed on the lawn seating area.
Mayor Jeremy Harris requests the publicís understanding and cooperation to assist in increasing safety and security at events in these city facilities.
