At 10 a.m. on February 8, 2001 Mayor Jeremy Harris and his cabinet will hold at blessing ceremony for Kapolei Hale, the city's new office building at Kapolei in west Ewa. A tour of the facility will follow. A satellite city hall, driver licensing office, large conference room and building permit office are open initially in the building which is architecturally based on the popular California- Spanish style from the 1920s. Honolulu Hale, the old Federal Building and the Alexander Baldwin Building are other examples of the style. Most large buildings in Kapolei are conforming to this architecture. Kapolei Hale is located at 1000 Uluohia Street; off Kamokila Boulevard.
