ROAD WORK, PARADES AND OTHER STREET ACTIVITIES
The departments of Facility Maintenance (FM) and Design & Construction (DC), and the Board of Water Supply (WS) have scheduled the following roadwork for the week of December 2, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Estimated completion date is in parentheses.

Continuing Projects:
Haleiwa: Install water lines and equipment along Haleiwa Road, Kaika Place, Nalimu Road, Naoiwi Lane, Niuula Road and Walikanahele Road. (Completion by 6/02) WS
Honolulu: Reconstruct King Street from Liliha Street to River Street and Bethel Street to South Street. The North King Street section includes the replacement of a 24-inch water main. (Completion by 7/02) DC
Reconstruct Oahu and Nuuanu avenues, Judd Street, Booth Road and Nuuanu Pali Drive.
Kahala: Renovation of Kealahou. (Completion by 8/02) DC
Kahuku: Sidewalk Improvements at Pualealea Street: Asphalt concrete sidewalk, drain improvements and pavement markings. (Completion by 1/02) DC
Kaimuki: Install 12” and 8” BWS water mains on Alencastre Street between St. Louis Drive and Felix Street. Reconstruct roadway pavement and base, curbs, gutters, sidewalks and driveways. Adjust manhole frames and covers, street monument covers and utility boxes to finish grade. Install street striping and raise pavement markings. (Completion by 2/02) DC
Kalihi: Install sewer lines along Bannister Street and Place and Laumaka Street. (Completion by 1/02) DC
Kaneohe: A 42-inch water main with fire hydrants is being placed along Kahekili Highway from Ahuimanu Road to Haiku Road and from Kulukeoe Street to Likelike Highway, Likelike Highway from Kahekili Highway to Kamehameha Highway. (Completion by 6/8/02) WS
Kapahulu: Reconstruction of, Monsarrat and Mooheau avenues and Diamond Head Road, DC
Makiki: Mott Smith Drive and Punahou Street will be repaved. (Completion by 8/02) DC
Manoa: Rehabilitation of sewer line along Kuahea Street between Waiomao Road and Kuahea Place. (Completion by 1/02)
Reconstruction of Manoa Road, Dole and McCully streets. DC
Mililani: Rehabilitation of Meheula Parkway (Kamehameha Highway to Lanikuhana): Reconstruction of curbs, gutters, and pavement, Kuahelani Avenue (Meheula Parkway to Kamehameha Highway). (Completion by 1/6/02) DC
Moiliili: Install 8-inch water mains on (Completion by 7/02) WS
Kaaha Street from Kapiolani Boulevard to Kaaloa Street;
Kaaloa Street from Kaaha Street to Nakookoo Street;
Nakookoo Street from Kahuna Lane to the end;
Kahoaloha from Nakookoo Street to Kuulei Lane and Kahuna Lane.
Sunset Beach: Install 12-inch to 16-inch water main along Kamehameha Highway from Paumalu Place to Kahae Road. (Completion by 12/02) WS
Waialua: Install water lines and related equipment along Aikaula, Haona, Kanalu, Kuoha, Naluahi and Nauahi streets and Goodale Avenue. (Completion by 6/02) WS
Rehabilitate Kaukonahua Road and Waialua Beach Road. DC
Waianae: Reconstruction and resurfacing of Lualualei Homestead Road between Pokai Bay Street and Hale Ekahi Drive, Paakea Road, between Hakimo Road and Mailiili Road, and Makaha Valley Road. (Completion by 8/10/02) DC
Waipahu: Rehabilitate Waipahu Street between Kunia Road and Mahoe Street. (Completion by 2/8/02) DC
