The Walk will begin at Ala Moana Beach Park at 7:30 a.m. Participants should check in at McCoy Pavilion between 6:30 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. They may choose either the one- or two-mile route for the one-hour walk. Sponsor stations along the route will give away “goodies.” Participants will also receive refreshments and be eligible for prizes. The Primetime Health Fair, following the Senior Fun Walk, will be held at the Neal Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Kuakini Medical Center will offer free testings for glucose, cholesterol , blood pressure, stroke risk assessment, hearing, cataract and arthritis. Social agencies also will be on hand to advise seniors of available services. A shuttle bus will operate between Blaisdell Center and Ala Moana Beach Park beginning at 6 a.m. Participants are encouraged to park at the NBC for a $3.00 fee and use the free shuttle.
