SUNSET ON THE BEACH SPECIAL HOLIDAY DOUBLE FEATURE (for Sat., Dec. 22 and Sun., Dec. 23)
The next Sunset on the Beach will be the weekend of December 22 and 23. To celebrate the holidays, the city will be hosting a double feature each night. The showing of two films each night will mean that Sunset on the Beach will end slightly after 9 p.m. However, with schools on vacation, families should take advantage of this special holiday weekend in Waikiki.
Enjoy the Hawaiian sunset from world-famous Waikiki Beach. Relax with a cool beverage and pupus, entertainment on the Hawaii stage from 4 – 6 p.m. Picnic on the beach with a wide selection of flavorful delights from Oahu’s outstanding restaurants at reasonable prices. Then grab a hot dog or popcorn, and watch popular feature films on a 30-foot screen with Diamond Head in the background. Where else, but at beautiful Queen’s Surf Beach; what else, but Honolulu’s own Sunset on the Beach.
Mayor Jeremy Harris, in cooperation with Waikiki Improvement Association, Hawaii Restaurant Association, News 8-NBC Hawaii and K5-The Home Team, KRATER 96 Hawaii, and KCCN FM100, announces this weekend’s highlights.
