Art of Women:Celebrating the Challenges and Successes of Hawaii's Women and Girl Artists with Disabilities will be presented at Honolulu Hale from March 14 through 31. The art exhibition includes work in various media by local artists with disabilities. The Honolulu County Committee on the Status of Women is presenting the exhibit in commemoration of Women's History Month and to bring recognition to women artists with disabilities. Community organizations will also display information on programs and services available to persons with disabilities. An opening reception will be held Wednesday, March 14, at 5:30 p.m. at Honolulu Hale to launch Women's History Month and to introduce the artists. Both the exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
