The City and KRATER Radio Sponsor Entertainment  


          A special tribute to the Aloha Festivals and the Royal Court will be part of tonight’s Downtown Hoolaulea.


          The City and KRATER radio are sponsoring four hours of entertainment from 6 to 10 p.m. on Stage #6 at Tamarind Park.


          Shortly after 6 p.m. entertainer/firefighter Jesse Rivera will lead a group of local performers and city employees as they sing his song “Give Aloha” to the Royal Court. Last weekend, the performance of “Give Aloha” by 70 entertainers, emergency services personnel and Boy Scouts was videotaped and sent as a gift to the people of New York from the people of Hawaii.


          Joining Jesse tonight to sing “Give Aloha” will be Amy Haanaialii Gillom, Ernie Cruz Jr., Maunalua, Kelly “Boy” Kalima of Kapena, Jeff Rassmussen and other musical greats.

          Entertainment on the City stage will continue throughout the evening and will feature Kalapana, Honolulu, The Band, Halau Hula Olana and SUGahDADDY.


          NOTE: Station dubs of the “Give Aloha” performance to the Royal Court will also be dropped off at all stations before the

10 p.m. newscast tonight.
