ROAD WORK, PARADES AND OTHER STREET ACTIVITIES 

The departments of Facility Maintenance (^FM) and Design & Construction (^DC), and the Board of Water Supply (^WS) have scheduled the following roadwork for the week of April 28 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Estimated completion date is in parentheses.

Maili: Rehabilitate Ehu and Meaulu roads and Alapaki, Kakalena and Milikami streets. (Completion by 8/02)^DC 

McCully: Curb ramp construction at Date and Kamoku streets and Date and Laau streets.^DC 

Nanakuli: Rehabilitate Hakikmo Road (Completion by 8/02) ^DC 

Continuing Projects:

Aiea: Rehabilitate Aiea Heights Drive. (Completion by 8/02) ^DC

            Rehabilitate Kaamilo Street, Kaimu Loop, Kamilo Place and Keapua Place. (Completion by 6/15/02) ^DC 

Ewa Beach: Construct curb Ramps at Kilaha Street and North Road. ^DC

            Replace Laulaunui Street sidewalks, curbs & gutters. (Completion by 8/02) ^DC

Haleiwa: Install water lines and equipment along Haleiwa Road, Kaika Place, Nalimu Road, Naoiwi Lane, Niuula Road and Walikanahele Road. (Completion by 6/02) ^WS 

            Install new water main on Dillingham Boulevard between Waiakamilo Road and Liliha Street. (Completion by 9/02) ^WS

                                  Construct sewer line on Lusitania Street from Pauoa Road to Auwaiolimu Street. The street will be closed 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays.

Kaneohe: Construct a 42-inch water mains along Kahekili Highway from Ahuimanu Road to Haiku Road and from Kulukeoe Street to Likelike Highway, Likelike Highway from Kahekili Highway to Kamehameha Highway. (Completion by 6/8/02) ^WS (Completion by 5/15/02) ^DC

Pearl City: Reconstruct Waimano Home Road from Komo Mai Drive to end. (Completion by 8/02) ^DC 

Sunset Beach: Install 12-inch to 16-inch water main along Kamehameha Highway from Paumalu Place to Kahae Road. (Completion by 12/02) ^WS 

Wahiawa: Rehabilitation of Nonohe Street between California Avenue and Puninoni Street, Puninoni Street and Royal Palm Drive. (Completion by 8/02) ^DC

Waialua:  Install water lines along Aikaula, Haona, Kanalu, Kuoha, Naluahi and Nauahi streets and Goodale Avenue. (Completion by 6/02) ^WS

      Reconstruct Kaukonahua Road between Kamehameha Highway and Wailaua Beach Road between Kuoha and Au streets. (Completion by 9/02) ^DC

April 28, 2002 Sunday 6:00AM Starts 2:00PM End	THE BIKE SHOP STAGE RACE SERIES # 2 sponsored by Tradewind Cycling Team. The event is expected to have 80 riders. It will start at Kaukonahua Rd., south of Wilikina Dr. intersection, to Kaukonahua Rd., to Farrington Hwy., to Goodale Ave., to Waialua Beach Rd., past Weed circle, to Kamehameha Hwy., south on Kam Hwy., to Kaukonahua Rd., to end  Kaukonahua Rd., south of Wilikina Dr. intersection.  Contact: Faye Saiki  593-8079  Fax: 591-9163

It will start at Manoa Rec Center, to Manoa Rd., to Pawaina St., to Pakanu St., to E. Manoa Rd., to Oahu Ave., to Lowrey Ave., to Kaaipu Ave. to end at Manoa Rec Center parking lot.
