FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE JANUARY 24, 2002 MAYOR TO DELIVER STATE OF CITY ADDRESS Mayor Jeremy Harris will deliver his annual State of the City address on Monday, January 28, at 11 a.m. in the Courtyard of Honolulu Hale. The public is welcome and may park in the Civic Center Parking Structure off Alapai Street, the Kalanimoku Building with entrance off Punchbowl Street or in metered stalls along Punchbowl and King streets. Mayor Harris' State of the City address will also be shown live on Olelo, Channel 54, at 11 a.m. and will be repeated on the Mayor's Report on Channel 54 on Sunday, February 3, at 10 a.m. and on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 6:30 p.m. The address will also be webcast live at http://www/co.honolulu.hi.us/mayor/address.htm. The Royal Hawaiian Band is scheduled to provide a half-hour prelude and DisGuyz will sing the National Anthem acapella. Television news crews are advised to arrive by 10:15 a.m. to set up for this event. They will be allowed to drop their equipment off on the steps fronting City Hall, then park in the motor pool area of the Civic Center Parking Structure.
