TRANSIT CENTERS MEETING CANCELLED* 

          The public meeting scheduled on Wednesday, June 5, 2002 to discuss Environmental Assessments for the proposed transit centers in Waianae, Wahiawa and Mililani has been postponed to a later date.    The Department of Transportation Services will announce a new date. 

          The transit centers will act as the hubs of the City’s hub-and-spoke transit system, which currently operate on the Leeward Coast.  Areas proposed include the Waianae Transit Center, adjacent to the Waianae Mall, the Civic Center area in Wahiawa and the area adjacent to the Mililani Town Center along Meheula Parkway.
