 HONOLULU ZOO UNDERGOING IMPROVEMENTS

Visitors to Honolulu Zoo are advised that construction on improvements have begun to replace the animal commissary and the keepers locker room.  The work will eliminate the restrooms at the Children’s Zoo, but restrooms will be available at the restaurant, Karibuni Reserve and near the Monsarrat exit gate.

            The improvements are expected to take one year to complete.  The construction management company for the project will be Yamasato, Fujiwara, Higa & Associates and the contractor will be Allied Construction.
