PUBLIC HEARINGS SCHEDULED FOR AREA PLANS ON AGING
The Elderly Affairs Division of the City’s Department of Community Services will hold public hearings on its proposed four-year Area Plan on Aging. The Plan describes service needs, goals and objectives for October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2007. Copies of the Plan are available for review at Public Libraries on Oahu and the Elderly Affairs Division Office, 715 South King Street, #200 (telephone: 523-4361).
The hearings will be held at the following times and locations:

May 13, 2003 (11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) at the Waikiki Community Center, 310 Paoakalani Avenue.

May 14, 2003 (10 a.m. to noon) at the City Hall Annex 550 South King Street.

May 15, 2003 (6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) at Easter Seals of Hawaii, 91-1251 Renton Road.
Those requiring special assistance or interpretation services for the meetings are asked to contact Pat Tompkins at 523-4546 no later than 1:30 p.m. on May 10.
Written or oral questions, comments and concerns about the Draft Area Plan may be presented at the scheduled public hearings or submitted in writing no later than June 20 to the Elderly Affairs Division.
