 GIVE DAD A BRUNCH ON THE BEACH 

            The Brunch Gang is encouraging families to bring their dads to Brunch on the Beach this Sunday, June 15.  Once again Kalakaua Avenue in front of the Hyatt will be transformed into a charming Hawaiian café.  The prices are incredible and the food is the best.  The entertainment is fabulous, and it’s free.  And, mom won’t have to cook!

 FOOD

            Hawai‘i’s finest chefs will serve signature appetizers, entrées, desserts, and beverages.  This Sunday, Brunch welcomes two new restaurants, Hong Kong Harbor View and Royal Steak House.  For only $5.00, you can order dad a Sweet & Sour Pork plate from Hong Kong Harbor View, or a Barbeque Chicken Plate from Royal Steak & Seafood.  Or, Hawaiian Sweetbread French Toast Sticks, breakfast treats, or Kimo’s Original Hula Pie from Duke’s Waikiki.

             Brunch welcomes back Lobster Crab and Seafood serving Chop Chop Maui Seafood Salad, also $5.  Seafood Village will also feature a variety of dim sum starting at $5.00, and Restaurant Fuji will feature sushi plates and garlic chicken plates for $5.00. 

             Tea Chest Hawaii and Zanzabar Night Club will serve a new selection of specialty beverages.

ENTERTAINMENT

            The entertainment is always the best and this month features the best in Hawaiian performance.  The Royal Hawaiian Band Glee Club kicks-off the show at 9:30 a.m. with a medley of “Hawai`i Calls” tunes. 

             At 10:30 a.m., dads will enjoy Hawaiian jazz by Abe Weinstein and special guest artists.  At 11:30 a.m., the stage will come alive with the keiki Hâlau Hula Olana.  Na Kumu Hula Olana Ai and Howard Ai have choreographed a “so cool” show just for dads.  And headlining Brunch this month will be multiple award-winners, the Brothers Cazimero.
