FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE GIANT NORFOLK TREE NEEDED FOR ANNUAL CITY LIGHTS
City officials are conducting a search for the perfect 60-foot Norfolk to grace the Honolulu Hale lawn in time for the annual Honolulu City Lights program, scheduled for December 6 through January 4, 2004. The ideal tree should be about 60 feet tall, straight and full, accessible to a crane and located in an area that is unobstructed by a wall or other impediment. If you think you’ve got the perfect tree and wish to donate it to the City, contact Stan Oka at 971-7151 or Lloyd Shimazu at 971-7156 at the Department of Parks and Recreation Urban Forestry Division. For more information contact the Department of Parks and Recreation Urban Forestry Division, 971-7151. ### |
