FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE KAPOLEI TRANSIT CENTER OPENS TOMORROW
The City’s new Kapolei Transit Center opens for business at 5:00 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, July 8), offering nine convenient bays for customers to board, depart and easily transfer between buses that service six routes. The Center is at 900 Kamokila Boulevard in Kapolei. It will provide easy-to-read information displays and restroom facilities. More than 420,000 bus riders are expected to use the facility each year because riders who now transfer at other stops will use the Transit Center instead. The Center will significantly shorten the distance customers walk to change buses. The six routes serviced by the Center are:
