SATURDAY BUS SHUTTLE SERVICE OFFERED AGAIN

Mayor Jeremy Harris announced today that the City will continue its popular Saturday bus shuttle service to assist people who need to get into town for work or shopping or to get around within their community.

All routes operate as a circular shuttle.  Stops at individual locations are not on an exact schedule, so riders should be flexible and patient.  Signage will identify pick-up and drop-off locations and the 16 school buses. 

1.       Chinatown Gateway – Kalihi:
Departs every 20 minutes

First bus departs Chinatown at 7:00 a.m.

Last bus departs Chinatown at 5:20 p.m.

§        Dillingham/Kohou Street

§        Dillingham/McNeil Street

§        Kalihi Shopping Center

§        School Street near Kam IV Road

§        Kapalama Elementary School

§        Lanakila/School Street

2                    Waianae – Kapolei – Waipahu –  Waikele – Chinatown Gateway: Departs every hour and a half

            First bus departs Waianae Mall at 7:00 a.m.

               Second bus departs Waianae Mall at 8:30 a.m.

               Last bus departs Chinatown to Waianae at 4:00 p.m.

  First bus departs Ewa Beach Shopping Center at 7:00 a.m.

              Second bus departs Ewa Beach Shopping Center at 8:05 a.m.

               Last bus back to Ewa Beach Shopping Center from Chinatown departs at 4:45 p.m.

7.        North Shore – Windward Mall – Haleiwa: Departs about every hour

            First bus to Haleiwa departs Windward mall at 7:00 a.m.

            First bus to Windward Mall departs North Shore Marketplace at 7:00 a.m.

            Last bus to Windward Mall leaves North Shore Marketplace at 2:30 p.m.

            Last bus to Haleiwa leaves Windward Mall at 4:00 p.m.

            Note:  Buses on this route do not go to Chinatown; but passengers may transfer to the Waimanalo-Kailua-Kaneohe bus at Windward Mall to get Downtown.
