PUBLIC EVENTS AT THE NEAL S. BLAISDELL CENTER AND WAIKIKI SHELL WILL HAVE ALL CARRY IN ITEMS INSPECTED Patrons attending public events at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center and the Waikiki Shell are asked to refrain from bringing backpacks, brief cases, hand bags or other personal carrying containers larger than clutch purses or fanny packs to events at either location. All backpacks, brief cases, large handbags, diaper bags, tote bags, coolers or carrying containers will be subject to search as a condition of entry. Individuals without large hand-carried items will not be required to undergo entry inspection and may use separate designated speed lines for entry. As a reminder for Waikiki Shell events, coolers larger than 18 inches in length are not permitted. Only backrests are allowed for the lawn seating area. The public’s understanding and cooperation is requested in order to assist in increasing safety and security during attendance at events. -30- |
