 (NOTE:  The Ala Moana Satellite City Hall and the City Store will temporarily close beginning Wednesday, February 25—not Thursday, February 26, as earlier announced.  Please disregard the previous news release dated February 12, 2004.)

 ALA MOANA CENTER CONSTRUCTION TO TEMPORARILY SHUT DOWN SATELLITE CITY HALL AND CITY STORE

            The Ala Moana Satellite City Hall will temporarily close for four days beginning Wednesday, February 25, through Saturday, February 28.  Also closed during the same period (plus Sunday, February 29) will be the City Store.  The closures are required for the completion of a project by the Ala Moana Center, which is reinforcing one of the walls to accommodate an adjoining  tenant.  Both the satellite and City Store will reopen on Monday, March 1.

             The public is advised that during the closure, service will be available at the remaining satellites.  The following are closest to Ala Moana:  Fort Street (1000 Fort Street Mall),  Kalihi (City Square, 1199 Dillingham Blvd.) and Hawaii Kai (6600 Kalanianaole Hwy., Suite 101).  Saturday service is available at Hawaii Kai, Pearlridge Center (Pearlridge Downtown, 2^nd level) and the Windward Mall (Sears side of the mall, 2^nd level).
