BLOCK J PARKING LOT TEMPORARILY CLOSED SATURDAY

AND SUNDAY

            The City’s Block J Parking Lot will be closed on Saturday and Sunday (June 5 and 6), then re-opened on Monday (June 7) for one day only of free public parking, before being turned over to a new private owner, Pflueger, Inc.

            The City recently sold the property to Pflueger, who will take over Block J on Tuesday, June 8.  Pflueger has retained AMPCO to manage the parking lot, which will charge at municipal parking rates.

            Signs will be posted to notify motorists of the closure (which begins at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, June 5) and change in ownership.  Meanwhile, the City Employees Parking Area (77 marked stalls) will continue to be available to those already allowed to park in this section.
