ELECTRICAL WORK WILL AFFECT KING STREET

 

          Motorists are advised that left turns will not be allowed from South King Street onto Punchbowl Street between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. beginning today (Friday, May 7) during the Hawaiian Electric Company’s work on the electric vault located on the Punchbowl Street side of City Hall.

In addition, metered parking on the ewa side of Punchbowl Street between Beretania and King streets will not be allowed between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

HECO has blocked off the mauka-bound lane of Punchbowl Street for equipment.  Traffic is being contra-flowed to the adjacent makai-bound lane.  The work began on May 3 and estimate completion of the work will be in three weeks.
