MAYOR’S STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS WILL BE JANUARY 29
Mayor Jeremy Harris will deliver his State of the City address on Thursday, January 29, in the Courtyard of Honolulu Hale.
As he did in 2003, Mayor Harris will deliver his speech during the evening so more people can hear his plans for the coming year.
The public is invited and should be seated by 5:45 p.m. for the 6 p.m. opening program which will include musical performances by local entertainers.
At 6:30 p.m. Mayor Harris will deliver his half-hour State of the City address which will be shown live on KHON-2, KGMB-9 and Olelo Channel 54. The speech will also be broadcast live on KSSK AM-59 and KHVH AM-830 and webcast on the City’s web site http://honolulu.granicus.com/MediaPlayer.php?publish_id=23.
This is Mayor Harris’ last year in office but this will not be his last State of the City address. He will deliver a year-end speech before leaving City Hall.
Free parking is available in the Civic Center Parking Structure off Alapai and Beretania streets.
