MAYOR TO DELIVER END-OF-YEAR ADDRESS ON DECEMBER 16
The public is invited to attend the final address by Mayor Jeremy Harris on Thursday, December 16, in the Mission Memorial Auditorium next to Honolulu Hale.
Mayor Harris completes his tenure on January 2 after 10 years in office. His address is expected to reflect on highlights of his administration, including his initiatives to make Honolulu a sustainable island community through accomplishments in the areas of recycling, environmental protection, transportation, energy, the economy and efforts to create livable communities while protecting prime agricultural land.
Those attending Thursday’s event are asked to be seated by 6:00 p.m., when entertainment preceeding the Mayor’s address will begin. The Mayor will speak from
6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The address will be broadcast live on KHON-TV.
Free parking is available at the Civic Center Parking Structure, with entrances off Alapai and South Beretania streets.
