December 22, 2004 63 LANE MILES OF ROADS RESURFACED DURING PAST 100 DAYS
Mayor Jeremy Harris today announced the completion of resurfacing of portions of 24 streets in areas that include Salt Lake, Manoa, Kaimuki, Downtown, Ewa, Wahiawa and Waianae (see attached list). The work totals 63 lane miles.
"This represents a $13 million investment in our streets, and the remaining $27 million budgeted for fiscal year 2005 is already either under construction or will be released for bid shortly. I want to complement both the City staff and our contractor for this tremendous effort," Harris said.
