THREE MAJOR EVENTS TO AFFECT TRAFFIC IN WAIKIKI Motorists are advised that three major events will close streets and affect traffic flow in Waikiki this weekend. Friday, June 10, 2005, from 5:30 p.m. to midnight Pan-Pacific MATSURI IN HAWAII Waikiki Ho'olaulea sponsored by Kintetsu USA International Express. The event is expected to have more than 30,000 participants. Traffic will be diverted starting 5:30 pm for setup. The event will close all traffic lanes/sidewalk areas on Kalakaua Avenue, from Lewers Street to Kaiulani Avenue. The parade will start at King Street and Richards Street, progress east on King Street, makai on Punchbowl Street, east on Ala Moana Boulevard, to Kalakaua Avenue, to Monsarrat Avenue, and ends at Queen Kapiolani Park.
