KAPOLEI ‘SUNSET’ SET FOR OCTOBER 8 AND 9

            Sunset on the Plains, which was postponed last week under threat of heavy showers and thunderstorms, will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday (October 8 and 9) at Kapolei Regional Park. The event will feature food booths, a marketplace, games, entertainment and movies on the giant screen: “The Pacifier” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 8 and “The Longest Yard” at 7 p.m. on Sunday, October 9. In addition, a fireworks display will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 8.
