Those planning to attend the Mayor’s Memorial Day Service at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific on Monday, May 30, are encouraged to use the round-trip shuttle buses being provided for the event because parking is very limited at the cemetery.

Buses will leave every 15 minutes from the Alapai Express Bus Terminal (at the corner of South King and Alapai streets), starting at 7:15 a.m. with the last bus leaving at 8 a.m.

Parking will be free at the Civic Center Parking Lot across the street, next to the Honolulu Municipal Building.  Destination signs on the buses will read “Special Punchbowl Cemetery”.  Regular fares of $2/adult and $1/youth (grades 1- 12) will prevail and monthly adult and youth passes will be accepted and elderly and disabled passes will be honored.

After the service, buses will leave as they are filled and passengers will be dropped off at the Alapai Express Terminal.
