CITY CLOSES ROUND TOP DRIVE

            Due to a continuing threat to the safety of motorists, the City Division of Facilities Maintenance is closing down the area around the 2700 block of Round Top Drive.  The road closure will continue until further notice.

            The area has been the location of nearly daily mudslides from land owned by the State and under the jurisdiction of the Department of Land and Natural Resources.  Crews from the Road Maintenance Division of DFM have worked to clear mud, debris and boulders from the area for much of the past week.
