REVISED * KUHIO DAY HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

            City government offices will be closed on Monday, March 27, in observance of Prince Kuhio Kalanianaole Day, a state holiday.

§       Emergency services will be available.

§       The People’s Open Markets will closed on Sunday (March 26) and open—except at the Honolulu Municipal Building location—on Monday (March 27) .

§       Municipal golf courses (weather permitting), the zoo, recreation centers and botanical gardens will be open.

§       Regular day refuse collections will be made and landfills/convenience centers will be open.

§       TheBus will operate on a holiday schedule.

§       TheHandi-Van service will operate as usual.

§       On-street parking will be free, except for the meters on Kalakaua Avenue along Kapiolani Park.

§       Parking will be permitted in towaway zones, which allow it on holidays.

§       There will be no coning of traffic lanes.

§       Traffic signals at Kalakaua Avenue and Kapiolani Boulevard will be three-phase to permit mauka-bound traffic to turn left onto Kapiolani Boulevard.
