CITY VEHICLES AND HEAVY EQUIPMENT

GO ON AUCTION BLOCK TOMORROW

            The City is selling 90 vehicles and heavy equipment machines ranging from wheel loaders to forklifts in a public auction at 9 a.m. tomorrow, February 22, 2007, at Campbell Industrial Park.

            The auction will be conducted at Insurance Auto Auctions, 91-455A Komohana Street.  The vehicles have been used and worn to the point they are deemed uneconomical for the City to repair.

            Eighty-one of them are at the auction site. Seven are at the City’s Automotive Equipment Services baseyard in Halawa, and one is at Sand Island Wastewater Treatment Plant.
