PEARLRIDGE SATELLITE CITY HALL REOPENS

The Pearlridge Satellite City Hall will reopen Tuesday, May 8 after a three-month renovation that was completed on time and within budget.

"We are pleased with the new look of our facility, which also provides a more comfortable space for people to conduct their transactions," said Mayor Mufi Hannemann, who will join City staff at the reopening ceremony at 11:00am.

The $186,930 project upgraded the satellite's air conditioning system, improved work stations for staff and created a new storage room.  Stan's Contracting, Inc. performed the construction, which officially began on January 29 and was substantially complete by April 6, weeks before the scheduled deadline.

During the shutdown, residents were advised to obtain satellite city hall services at Kapolei, Wahiawa, Waianae and six other locations throughout the island.

The Pearlridge satellite offers the following:

  • Motor vehicle registration.
  • Bus passes
  • City job information.
  • Parking permits for the disabled.
  • Dog, bicycle and moped licenses.
  • Fireworks permits.
  • Picnic and camping permits.
  • Spay/neuter certificates.
  • Voter registration and certification.
  • Water bill payment transactions.

The Pearlridge satellite will also soon be processing driver license renewals and duplicates. The satellite will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; 9 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Wednesdays; and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
