CREWS RESPOND TO SEWAGE SPILL   

Department of Environmental Services crews responded to a sewage spill this morning in Kailua.

Approximately 13, 500 gallons spilled from a 12-inch line due to inundation from rain near Hele and Keolu Streets and entered the storm drain system.

Crews contained the spill at 5:30 a.m.  The state Department of Health was notified.
