CITY PLANS TWO PARADES TO HONOR Mayor Mufi Hannemann announced today that the City is planning two parades for the Western Athletic Conference champion and The mayor said, “After consulting with Coach June Jones and Athletic Director Herman Frazier, the City will host two parades so that our people can show their aloha to the student-athletes and coaches on this great Warrior football team. “The first parade is this Saturday’s Kapolei City Lights electric light parade on December 8. Several players on the Warrior football team will be the grand marshals. Vili the Warrior will also be in the parade. We invite everyone to come down, see the players, and enjoy the entertainment and festivities that make Kapolei City Lights so much fun.” The parade will start at 6 p.m. at the Kapolei Fairgrounds, go down The mayor added, “The City will honor the entire Warrior football team with a parade after they return from the Sugar Bowl in January.
