HAUULA CIVIC CENTER IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED

The City has completed a $400,000 improvement and renovation project at the Hauula Civic Center.

Work included demolishing and replacing wood doors, windows and wall panels and replacement with concrete masonry blocks walls, vinyl windows, and new wood doors. The project also included various exterior improvements, a fire alarm system upgrade, and removal and replacement of a trellis with a new framing and roofing system.

“This is an important community facility, and we are very pleased to give it the attention it deserves,” said Department of Design and Construction Deputy Director Russell Takara.

The project began in April. The City’s contractor was PER Inc., and total contract amount was $414,200. Final inspection is pending.
