City Completes Reconstruction of

Kuahelani Park Playcourts

The City and County of Honolulu has completed the reconstruction of playcourts at Kuahelani Neighborhood Park.

The park is between Lanikuhana and Kuahelani avenues in Mililani, adjacent to Mililani Uka Elementary School.

The project included reconstruction of the playcourt surfaces for two basketball and two volleyball courts, ADA access to the school, play apparatus, a new “hi-low” drinking fountain, and grade adjustment walls. 

Work began in February 2008 and was completed in September.  Cost was $490,000.
